When an organization isn’t challenged for nearly a thousand years, it becomes stagnant and closed minded. I believe the Jedi Order would’ve greatly benefited from oversight and checks & balances on its power. This would allow for the organization to grow and evolve to face the many challenges the galaxy was facing.
