SINGAPORE – Let’s celebrate the New Year that never arrives! Prime Video released the official trailer for the highly anticipated Thai film Love Stuck. The trailer reveals the story of Toy, whose life feels like a game where he can do whatever he wants, as it always resets to the same old New Year’s Eve. Love Stuck is a remake of the critically acclaimed Amazon Original The Map of Tiny Perfect Things, which was nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Movie Made for Television. This romantic-comedy-fantasy-drama film will be exclusively available on Prime Video in Thailand and over 240 countries and territories around the world on October 17, 2024.
Love Stuck stars Teeradon Supapunpinyo (Bad Genius, Thirteen Lives) as Toy, and Plearnpichaya Komalarajun (OMG! Oh My Girl, Bad Genius: The Series) as Vee. The film also features a remarkable cast, including Thitiya Jirapornsilp (You & Me & Me, Not Friends), Sanya Kunakorn (One Year, How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies), Grace Mahadumrongkul (King Naresuan), and Monthapoom Sumonvarangkul.
Love Stuck explores the themes of love, life, family, and personal growth. The story follows Toy, an aimless young illustrator, who finds himself trapped in a time loop. No matter what he does, he always wakes up back where he started: on the morning of New Year’s Eve. While trying to escape this tedious cycle, he runs into Vee, a mysterious young woman inexplicably caught in the same situation. The two spend the ever-recurring day searching for Perfect Moments hidden all around them—moments that they would have missed if it weren’t for the time loop.
When Toy attempts to find a way to escape the loop Vee withdraws from him, leaving him heartbroken. While dealing with this disappointment, Toy discovers a bitter truth about his family that changes his perspective on life. Meanwhile, Vee faces the unacceptable—yet inevitable—truth, revealing the reason behind her and Toy being stuck on the same day. The pair eventually accept that life is imperfect and learn to cherish each and every minute they have.
Love Stuck is produced by Amazon MGM Studios in association with Benetone Films. Directed by Chongdol Sukulworaphat, with Noppharat Ramwong as co-director, the film is produced by Rachvin Narula and Kulthep Narula.
